KING Salmon week! June 24-29
It does not get much better than this week when it comes to fishing for Alaska’s giant King Salmon, the largest of all salmon species. This 5-night 4-½ day package is right during the prime time to catch the King Salmon as they are returning from the ocean to their spawning grounds. These fish average between 25-30 pounds and are a great fighter. You will also have the opportunity to fish for rainbow Trout, Dollie Varden, Arctic Grayling and potentially have a shot at sockeye salmon, as they should be in fishable numbers by the end of this trip date. Retail price is $6,675 per person. Special price is $5,675 per person.
Rainbows on the Fly September 21-27
September is the month when the rainbow Trout are gorging themselves on whatever they can find as they sense the long winter approaching. This makes for some very good fly-fishing opportunities for our guests. We specifically target rainbow Trout as well as Arctic Char during this week (you might have a shot at some late silver salmon as we did in 2011). This is a great time to be at the lodge with a brisk cool bite in the air, dustings of snow on the mountains, fall colors on the tundra, and the tug of a powerful native rainbow Trout at the end of your line. This is a 6 night 6 full day package. Retail price is $7,450 per person. Special price is $6,700 per person.
